Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the LamaniChat platform. By accessing our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LamaniChat platform, website, and services ("Service") operated by Lamanify Sdn Bhd (Company No. 202401027001) ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Eligibility

By using LamaniChat, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and are using the platform for legitimate business purposes, specifically the operation and management of a registered healthcare clinic or related business. The platform is intended for use by businesses registered in Malaysia, and your use must comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations.


2. Account Registration and Security

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must immediately notify us at admin@lamanichat.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
  • We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

3. Permitted Use and Restrictions

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

  • To provide formal medical diagnoses, prescribe treatments, or replace the judgment of a licensed medical professional. LamaniChat is an administrative tool for managing patient inquiries, not a clinical decision support system.
  • In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation, including the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material (spam).
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Lamanify Sdn Bhd, a LamaniChat employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Service, or interfere with any other party's use of the Service.
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server on which the Service is stored, or any server or database connected to the Service.

4. Subscription, Payments, and Billing

  • Free Trial: We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you will be required to choose a paid plan to continue using the Service.
  • Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect and will notify you via email.
  • Refunds: All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as otherwise specified in our refund policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and design — are owned by Lamanify Sdn Bhd and are protected by Malaysian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform (your Knowledge Base content). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.


6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements.
  • Any AI-generated chatbot responses will be free from errors or omissions. AI systems can make mistakes, and you are solely responsible for reviewing and supervising the responses your chatbot provides to patients.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Lamanify Sdn Bhd, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at admin@lamanichat.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.


9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before commencing legal proceedings.


10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will also send a notification to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
